Dave & Marianne Kirsch

David H. Kirsch, a music instructor since 1975, has taught over 5,000 students, grades K - 12, in General, Vocal and Instrumental music and has participated as a frequent Guest Conductor for Festival Choirs and Bands throughout New York State. Dave began his teaching career in Waterville (NY) Central Schools and for the past 21 years has been teaching at Perry Browne Intermediate School in Norwich (NY) City Schools.

Entering the Catholic faith through RCIA in 1993, over the past 15 years Dave has been very involved in different aspects of St. Paul and St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Churches in Norwich. He has served as a Catechist for grades K - 10, a St. Paul choir member, Parish Council President and Secretary, a member of the annual Norwich Christmas Food Basket drive and a volunteer at Roots and Wings, a charitable organization affiliated with Chenango County Catholic Charities. He currently serves as the Music Director for the Adult Choirs of both parishes and has recently instituted a mutual bell choir. He is also involved as Liturgist for both parishes, is an instructor for RCIA, a Parish Council Member, a Ministry Team member and a Eucharistic Ministry trainer.

Dave and his wife Marianne reside in Norwich, and have two daughters, and a son-in-law; Emily, Nicole and Jeremy.
